Pamela Poulin, Soprano
Stephen Wilson, Piano

Pamela Poulin is a professor emerita, Peabody Conservatory of Music of the Johns Hopkins University. She earned her Ph.D. at the Eastman School of Music and is frequently heard as a soprano soloist in the Central New York area and was heard with Wilson at the Civic Center. She also portrays the suffragist-abolitionist Matilda Joslyn Gage as a guide for group tours (by appointment) and as a speaker for various organizations. Dr. Poulin will portray Gage for the Women's Rights National Historic Park in Seneca Falls for its "Convention Days", July 14& 15, 2 PM both days. Gage's historic home in Fayetteville recently opened to the public after a million-dollar restoration, is open on Saturdays and Mondays 10 AM - 4 PM, for group tours by appointment and is located at 210 East Genesee Street (Rte. 5) at the corner of Walnut Street just after the Fayetteville "Towne Center" Mall, up the hill on the right.

Stephen B. Wilson is Professor of Choral Music at SUNY Cortland where he conducts the College Singers and the Choral Union, for whom he has directed the Brahms German Requiem, Les Miserables (stage version performed last month), Carmina Burana, J. S. Bach's St. Matthew's Passion with multiple choirs, among other works. The Choral Union features singers from the central NY area as well as soloists. Those interested in singing with the Choral Union are invited to contact Dr. Wilson at 607/753-4615. A fine baritone, he has also been heard in concert on the SUNY Cortland Main Stage. Dr. Wilson earned his doctorate at the Ball State University.

Lutz Mayer is a professor emerita of the Department of Music at SUNY Cortland, whose music in various media has been heard in New York City, Central New York and other areas of the United States. He received his music degrees at the University of North Carolina and at the University of Champagne-Urbana.
